Each of these new production 9mm Luger (9×19 Parabellum) cartridges is loaded with a 115 grain Gold Dot jacketed hollow point projectile. Speer manufactures their Gold Dot bullets using a proprietary bonding process that seals the copper jacket to the lead core one molecule at a time. This process virtually eliminates the possibility of core/jacket separation to provide maximum eight retention and hard-hitting terminal energy transfer. In addition, these hollow points offer effective barrier penetration, punching through heavy clothing and other common barriers with virtual ease.
This new production ammunition is boxer primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. Each round is loaded in a nickel-plated brass case for smooth and reliable feeding and function, especially in modern semi-automatic firearms. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1210 feet per second, each round produces a consistent muzzle energy of 374 foot pounds. This ammunition comes packed in 20-round boxes.
