First introduced in 1939, generations of big game hunters have used Remington Express Core-Lokt ammunition to bring down trophy animals.
Promoted as the “deadliest mushroom in the woods,†Remington Core-Lokt loads are engineered with a tapered copper jacket bonded (or “lockedâ€) to a solid lead core. These proprietary projectiles offer massive expansion up to twice the original diameter and nearly 95 percent weight retention. The result is hard-hitting terminal performance that produces a massive wound channel for fast, humane kills.
This package contains 20 rounds of Remington Express Core-Lokt 7x64mm Brenneke ammunition. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 175 grain pointed soft point (PSP) Core-Lokt bullet. These premium projectiles feature a streamlined Spitzer shape to improve aerodynamic performance, flatten trajectories, and improve down-range accuracy.
Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 2600 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2626 foot pounds. This ammunition is non-corrosive, boxer primed, brass cased, and fully reloadable. Use these rounds for hunting whitetails, elk, pronghorn, and even most African plains animals.
