This 7mm WSM Hornady Outfitter cartridge features a 150 grain GMX projectile. It provides the accuracy you need to be effective in forest, hill, and plain thanks to its long and sleek profile, pressure relieving grooves, and the sharp meplat formed by its polymer tip. Upon impact that tip rams inward to initiate expansion up to 1.5 times the GMX’s original diameter.
rAs it expands, the GMX retains no less than 95 percent of its weight. It manages to do so thanks to its monolithic copper alloy construction, which presents no core and jacket that could separate. By virtue of its design this bullet is also California compliant, and further one that’s incapable of leaving lead residue behind in the bore.
rAn Outfitter round is not only suitable for places where toxic projectiles are banned, but also anywhere that it could rain. Its nickel plated brass casing is extremely resistant to corrosion, and its sealed primer and casing mouth prevent water from seeping in to destroy its propellant.
