This 7mm WSM (Win Short Magnum) cartridge by Federal features the 160 grain Trophy Bonded Tip projectile. This bullet’s polymer tip works alongside its pressure relieving grooves to give it a very straight trajectory in flight — the great energy exerted on impact drives that tip into the bullet’s core in order to initiate rapid expansion.
rThe Trophy Bonded Tip has a very thick jacket, which along with its solid base enables it to penetrate game deeply, even through thick bone. The bullet’s exterior skiving complements that expansion’s effectiveness tremendously, and because this bullet’s core is so closely bonded to its jacket it’s able to exhibit optimal weight retention during penetration.
rThis round’s brass casing is plated with nickel, so you needn’t worry about sluggish extraction or corrosion. Its propellant burns clean and has copper reducing additives in it, and its Gold Medal primer is Federal’s very best.
