Description

Is the 7mm Remington Magnum one of your favorite deer hunting cartridges? That’s a patrician choice! Any deer you shoot must surely take note of your style before it slumps over and joins the choir invisible. For you we have one of the best 7mm Rem Mag hunting cartridges on the market: Federal Premium’s Terminal Ascent.
rThis round’s 155 grain Terminal Ascent projectile makes it just a little lighter than what many elk hunters prefer, but that weight reduction gives it a higher 3,000 fps muzzle velocity. The bullet does all it can to conserve as much of that velocity downrange as it’s able. Its 0.586 G1 ballistic coefficient (0.300 G7 BC) means that it will only drop to -6.2” at 300 yards after passing a 200-yard zero.
rThe 155gr Terminal Ascent achieves such admirable ballistic efficiency courtesy of its streamlined Slipstream polymer tip and drag minimizing AccuChannel groove, as well as its nearly perfectly concentric copper shank. The match accurate bullet’s shank is bonded to its lead core, which keeps the bullet intact enough to retain the weight that’s essential for very deep penetration. The bonded bullet’s Slipstream tip produces lethal terminal expansion as penetration forces it inward. The system works so well that the Terminal Ascent consistently expands following impact velocities 200 fps lower than less highly engineered hunting bullets!
rThis ammo’s nickel-plated brass cases are a welcome addition if you hunt in damp environments. In addition to warding off corrosion, nickel minimizes metal-on-metal friction to provide smoother feeding and extraction in a rifle. Order a box or ten and see for yourself soon!
