The bullet owes its superior accuracy to its boat tail design, a feature which markedly heightens its ballistic coefficient in order to flatten its trajectory, help it to resist the influence of wind drift, and let it deliver a greater deal of its energy on impact, even after having traveled long distances. Although optimized for match shooting, this hollow point projectile will mushroom within soft targets during penetration, making it a an appropriate solution for varmint control.
