rThis cartridge’s ELD-VT boat tail bullet does share the ELD-X’s Heat Shield tip – a polymer spike that neatly parts aside air molecules as it greatly decreases drag, and which retains its sleek profile even while aerodynamic heating fries it. Unlike the ELD-X, the ELD-VT features a thin, tapered and almost excessively concentric AMP jacket. Its tip’s tail is also separated from its lead core by an air gap, which enables it to trigger virtually instantaneous terminal fragmentation on arrival.
rHornady fills each V-Match load’s new brass case with modern, clean-burning and temperature-stable propellant.
