This 6.8 SPC cartridge from Hornady’s Custom line of ammunition features the Nebraskan manufacturer’s own 100 grain GMX projectile. The GMX is composed of a copper alloy that’s even stronger than pure copper. As such it creates very little bore fouling, is wholly compliant with California’s strict ammunition laws, and delivers no less than 95 percent weight retention while expanding up to 1.5 times its original diameter during penetration. The GMX sports a polymer tip, which both amplifies its accuracy and serves to initiate rapid expansion upon impact. This bullet’s accuracy is further bolstered by its long and sleek profile and its pressure relieving grooves.
