Description
The 6.5×55mm Swedish originated as a military cartridge in Scandinavia back in the 19th century. That the old caliber is still favored for hunting in Europe isn’t just a testament to the abundance of surplus military rifles the continent enjoyed — its stellar accuracy and terminal performance make it as suitable for bagging smaller deer as it is a mighty moose.
rThis cartridge by Prvi Partizan is capped with a 139 grain projectile that complements its caliber’s characteristic performance. The bullet’s tapered base grants it a higher ballistic coefficient, so you’ll enjoy shots that carry a better part of their muzzle velocity over long distances and strike with greater energy on impact. This bullet’s jacket renders it even better able to penetrate, and while doing so its soft tip will initiate wide expansion to produce a gaping and deep wound channel. Prvi Partizan’s sturdy brass casing is a nice thing for a harder to find round to have, and their non-corrosive primer will treat your old m/94 with kid gloves.
