rThis round is loaded with none other than Sierra’s world-famous MatchKing. The hollow point boat tail is designed for precision shooting, not terminal expansion, and is accordingly suitable for hunting game no larger than varmints. The MatchKing combines a just about perfectly concentric copper jacket with a void-free lead core so that it can achieve exceptional flawless rotational stability, and its smooth jacket and optimally angled boat tail up its G7 ballistic coefficient to 0.279 (G1 0.532). Zero in at 200 yards and the bullet will only drop to -8.35†at 300 yards and -23.98†at 400. If you really want to go bananas and aim for 1,200 yards, then you still can expect the bullet to remain supersonic at that range!
rThis ammunition is loaded at Sierra’s factory in the great state of Missouri with match grade reloadable brass cases and Boxer primers, as well as the specially formulated propellant which conserves accuracy by keeping the bore clean.
