This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge from Barnes’ VOR-TX line of ammunition features a 120 grain tipped Triple-Shock X boat tail (TTSX BT) projectile. If you’re already a fan of the Utahan manufacturer’s TSX, you’ll recognize that this all-copper bullet permits it to retain no less than 99 percent of its weight during penetration, a quality which further makes it acceptable for use in California. You’ll also notice the addition of a polymer tip, which both heightens the TTSX BT’s ballistic coefficient and serves to initiate expansion upon impact.

rDuring penetration, this round’s bullet produces four exceedingly sharp cutting petals, which effectively double its overall diameter. These create massive internal damage within game animals, causing them to keel over immediately in their tracks.
