Each of these factory fresh .50 GI cartridges features a strong, thick wall built to approximately the same OAL as a standard .45 ACP round. These large caliber cartridges operate at a relatively low pressure which lengthens the reloading life of each high-quality brass case. Cartridges are topped 230 grain solid copper hollow point projectiles. Designed with a deep cavity and four pre-scored petals, these proprietary projectiles expand on target contact, forming multiple razor-sharp petals. Delivering a full inch of expansion, these surgically-sharp petals easily slice through soft tissue. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1000 feet per second, these all-copper bullets produce a 5-inch wound channel, deliver eight inches of hydrostatic shock damage, and generate 600 foot pounds of kinetic energy.
