Each factory fresh 5.56x45mm cartridge is loaded with a 55 grain GMX hollow point projectile. GMX (Gilding Metal eXpanding) bullets are constructed entirely of monolithic gilding metal. This is the same alloy Hornady uses for bullet jackets. A precision, lead-free design, GMX offers cleaner shooting than pure copper. GMX also delivers incredible terminal expansion and effective barrier penetration for personal protection applications.
