It’s a good choice of ammunition for any 44 Magnum firearm! Chamber these cartridges in your revolver on range day. Chamber them in your lever-action rifle on deer or hog hunting day. And while these rounds may not be on Magnum Research’s “Recommended Ammunitions†list, we foresee zero reason why they should fail in a Desert Eagle (not to be confused with a Desert Beagle).
rThis round’s bullet is the tried and true jacketed hollow point. Its lead core’s flat nose won’t do anything risky inside of a rifle’s tube. It’ll also punch a wide, harmful entry wound into the target. Once pressurized soft tissue fills its nose cavity, the lead core widens out to maximize energy transfer and trauma. The JHP’s nonferrous jacket helps keep the whole thing intact so as to ensure deeper penetration.
