Description
You love firing your 400 Legend rifle just as much as the next red-blooded American (we’ve conducted exhaustive market research and determined that more than 99% of our clientele are red-blooded Americans). But that doesn’t mean you want the whole world to know when you’re landing bulls. So what do you do? You invest in Winchester Super Suppressed and dial the subtlety up to eleven.
rThis round’s bullet is a lumbering 300 grains. Muzzle velocity out of a 20†test barrel? A mere 1,060 fps, which is around 65 fps lower than sonic. Let one of these rounds out of its cage and you’re not going to hear a piercing supersonic crack.
rYou are going to witness great accuracy, though. The heavyweight bullet will not exhibit transonic destabilization. Its stability is even finer in light of its open tip design, which combines a thin jacket and form-fitted lead core to boost balance to the nth degree. The open tip’s jacketed base also minimizes fouling of the barrel and the suppressor.
rThe bullet’s 0.318 G1 BC may indicate that it has a consistent trajectory, but it does drop pretty quickly: aim through 1.5†high sights to 100 yards, and you’re talking about -34†drop at 200 yards. (That’s nothing your famously sharp marksmanship can’t compensate for, though.)
