These Colt-branded .380 ACP rounds are manufactured by DKG Trading, the same company behind the well known Nobel Sport and Barnaul Bear brands! The Colt name has long been associated with shooting innovation and ingenuity and these rounds represent more of the same with a unique solid copper hollow-point (SCHP) design. This bullet profile contains no lead, a solid base, and a hollow cavity with thin, serrated walls which peel back into a star pattern upon impact without breaking away from the body. This construction is designed for reliable expansion even at low velocities from short barreled carry guns.

The SCHP projectile weighs in at 80 grains which is a little light for .380 Auto but offers manageable recoil and great velocity. An all copper projectile design lowers the cost of these self-defense cartridges while depositing less heavy metal in the gun for less cleaning and more reliability. Other components used include traditional brass casings and non-corrosive Boxer primers.
