“Starfire†— when we first heard of this self-defense load by PMC, our immediate thought was that it would make a good name for a superhero. It turns out that she already is one, with a costume made of about eight cubic inches of fabric that must help her fight crime somehow.
rBut we digress. This Korean-made 38 Special +P cartridge is also well-suited for crime fighting, because its 125 grain projectile features a rather unique rib and flute design which effectively causes up to double diameter expansion as it penetrates its target. It further reliably penetrates to approximately one foot in depth, enabling it to transfer its energy right where a threat’s most sensitive inner bits lay hidden.
rPMC’s greatest calling is to supply the nation of South Korea’s military with all the exploding things they would need to fight a war.
