Inceptor’s 38 Special cartridge features a 77 grain ARX projectile. Right away you’ll notice how light a bullet that is for a 38, and that’s because the ARX is injection molded out of an exclusive blend of copper and polymer. Because it has been formed so precisely, the ARX is extremely accurate, and because it has so little mass it can exit the muzzle exceptionally quickly for a guaranteed flat trajectory.
rThe ARX is designed to neutralize a threat fast and efficiently, although it doesn’t have the hollow point you would expect of a self-defense bullet. The ARX’s grooves do not serve to make it more accurate. Instead they channel the organic material they come into contact with downward, until they expel it outward. This not only enables the ARX to produce a simply catastrophic wound channel in a threat, but to do so without the nose cavity that could throw a hiccup into a semi-automatic pistol’s feeding cycle.
