rHow does the Streak projectile work? Is it incendiary? Not at all – it does not generate heat and accordingly doesn’t pose the same safety risks as conventional tracer ammunition. The bottom of the Streak bullet is simply coated with a thin layer of nonflammable luminescent material, which reflects red light back at the firing line so you can witness the bullet’s trajectory at indoor ranges or dark outdoor ranges.
rApart from its reflective base, the Streak bullet is a normal 125 grain total metal jacket. The TMJ is unlike the FMJ because its copper jacket extends to cover the base of its solid lead core. Hot propellant gasses cannot sear lead off the bullet as the result, so you can enjoy having a cleaner barrel and cleaner lungs.
