Description
This is newly manufactured .38-55 Winchester ammunition from Precision Cartridge Inc. (PCI), the sole commercial reloader in the state of Indiana. PCI takes extreme pride in their work and utilizes quality components as well as highly precise Camdex loading machines. The rounds use 245 grain lead round nose flat point (LRN-FP) bullets which are on the heavy side for the caliber and are great for taking black bears and large deer. The exposed lead combined with the flat nose of the bullet allows for some slight expansion upon impact while favoring the deeper penetration necessary to punch through thick hide and bone. The round nose of the bullet facilitates reliable feeding for use in older lever-action and pump-action rifles chambered in .38-55 Winchester. This ammo is loaded using reloadable brass casings, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and comes 20 rounds per box.
