This 375 RUM cartridge from Barnes’ VOR-TX LR line of ammunition is designed to deliver outstanding long-distance performance. Its superior accuracy and its crushing terminal ballistics are both the handiwork of Barnes’ 270 grain Long-Range X (LRX) bullet!
rThe LRX is monolithic. A solid copper bullet is clean-shooting, nontoxic and inherently accurate because its weight is so uniformly distributed. The LRX is streamlined by its long boat tail and spear-like polymer tip, so it retains enough momentum to fly flat, resist wind deflection, and still pass 400 yards at a velocity of approximately 2,200 fps.
rCopper is tough, and a monolithic bullet lacks the traditional bullet’s core/jacket separation problem. That’s why the LRX resists fragmentation that could have shortened its wound channel before it’s able to reach a vital organ. The LRX’s blue polymer tip also forces wide terminal expansion, with four individual cutting petals each wreaking mayhem in their wakes.
rThis ammo is loaded in the great state of Utah with responsive Boxer primers, clean-burning propellant and reloadable nickel-plated brass cases. Nickel helps keep this ammo safe from corrosion while you’re trekking around looking for new trophies to bag!
