rWinchester designed their Silvertip line of ammunition to make any wheelgun ready ready for action. This cartridge is loaded with a 145 grain jacketed hollow point. Its energy transfer remains commanding at 25 yards and beyond. Its notched rim and deep, centered nose cavity equip it to undergo fast, wide and highly effective terminal expansion. The Silvertip bullet’s signature feature is its shiny nickel-plated exterior, which looks nice but otherwise provides no real performance benefits.
rWinchester Silvertip ammunition is nonmagnetic, noncorrosive, and engineered to provide smooth and safe functionality in all 357 Mag revolvers and rifles. This ammo’s brass cases aren’t nickel-plated, although they are reloadable, Boxer-primed, and filled with clean-burning propellant.
