Description
Ammunition specifically designed for 327 Magnum lever-action rifles? That’s fairly specific. It doesn’t grow on trees. But it does exist – and you’ve just discovered the very best of it!
rFederal Premium didn’t design the ideal ammo for lever guns without recruiting the world’s leading authority on them. Henry Repeating Arms helped the Minnesotan firm create this HammerDown label cartridge’s smooth-feeding modified chamfered case, as well as its bullet which is optimized to deliver deadlier terminal performance upon bursting out of a long gun’s muzzle.
rThis round’s 127 grain brute wouldn’t let you down if you fired it out of a revolver, though. Its molecularly bonded jacket keeps the JHP from splintering to pieces as it pierces through any number of barriers, thick hide or otherwise. The bullet’s nose cavity also supplies all the expansion needed to anchor the target quickly. Federal promises 623 ft lbs striking energy at 50 yards (although they haven’t disclosed the test barrel length used to record that figure).
