rAnd here it is! Utah-made 120 grain wide flat nose (WFN) hard cast ammunition by Doubletap. The hard cast bullet is mostly made of lead, though it is also heavily alloyed with other metals which make it extraordinarily … well, hard. It doesn’t flatten out as it bores into body mass, which enables it to penetrate deeply. At the same time, the bullet’s WFN profile punches a highly injurious hole through whichever flesh and organs it encounters.
rThis ammunition features low-flash propellant (to preserve your eyesight if you fire in low light). Its 1,050 fps muzzle velocity was recorded with a 6†test barrel. Out of a Ruger SP101’s 3†barrel, muzzle velocity drops to 1,025 fps. Made in Utah.
