rAmmo Inc. loads this round with one of Hornady’s bullets. The 165 grain InterLock is a high-tech soft point, which combines a boat tail and secant ogive profile to deliver truly impressive ballistic performance. The flat-shooting SBPT has an advertised G1 BC of 0.435 (that’s according to Hornady; Ammo Inc. hasn’t posted the round’s actual ballistic performance at the time of writing).
rThe InterLock’s jacket grows progressively thinner the closer it gets to the exposed lead tip. That and the jacket’s symmetrical inner grooves promotes broader, faster terminal expansion at ranges near and far. The InterLock’s jacket is physically embedded into its core by two separate raised rings, which is all in service of providing the deepest penetration possible.
