Description
This is Hirtenberger surplus 308 Winchester ammunition. This ammo is loaded with a 146 grain lead core full metal jacket bullet, and was manufactured in Austria. These rounds were produced in the 1970s and are made for long term storage and for highly accurate range training. These are not ideal for hunting or for self defense, but due to their consistency, these rounds are perfect for marksmanship training in preparation for a hunt of for a home defense situation. These rounds are Berdan primed, brass cased, and non-corrosive. The brass casings can be reloaded, but can not be reloaded with the same tools and methods as with Boxer primers. This ammo is also magnetic, so make sure your range of choice allows magnetic ammo. rr
