rHSM recruited Berger of Arizona to create this round’s bullet. It is the Hunting Very Low Drag (VLD), a hollow point boat tail that is somewhat uniquely engineered to undergo terminal expansion. The VLD owes its accuracy to its streamlined secant ogive jacket profile, as well as its virtually perfectly concentric jacket (drawn to a concentricity standard of no more or less than 0.0003â€). When the VLD connects with its prey, it burrows to a depth of 2-3†before letting loose rapid and deadly terminal expansion accompanied by extreme hydrostatic shock.
rThis ammunition is loaded in the great state of Montana.
