rThis cartridge’s Hot-Cor bullet is made by Speer of Idaho. It is created by pouring molten lead into the jacket, where it hardens in place to promote peak rotational stability. The accurate and tough soft point moves at a rate of 2,500 fps by the instant it clears an 18†barrel, and delivers sufficiently deep penetration and wide expansion to KO medium game up to 400 pounds in weight. The Hot-Cor is no less effective at managing threats of the two-legged variety (and that doesn’t include grizzly bears standing on their hind legs).
