Description
Lead. It’s a miraculous metal for making bullet cores, but there is just one problem with it: it’s toxic. That’s why certain local governments have banned bullets containing lead for hunting. That’s also why Hornady invented the NTX: a non-lead polymer-tipped hunting bullet which positively dominates varmints and predators!
rThis round’s 110 grain bullet’s core is made of frangible copper. It’s surrounded by Hornady’s signature AMP jacket, which is exceedingly thin and impressively concentric – features which promote fast terminal expansion and excellent rotational stability, respectively. But the NTX doesn’t merely expand. Once its polymer tip slams into its core, the NTX self-destructs in a savage display of terminal fragmentation. Its terminal ballistics are comparable to those of Hornady’s V-MAX, albeit without the need for a lead core.
rHornady’s BLACK series ammunition is truly versatile. Its high-quality reloadable brass cases, primers and propellant all promise reliable performance in any kind of rifle that can chamber 300 BLK. This is supersonic ammo, but it’s still compatible with suppressors!
