rThis round sports a 150 grain metal case projectile. That is an uncommon designation for a bullet, but not one which begs too much pondering — it’s in essence identical to a full metal jacket, so you can count on very little bore fouling, positive functioning in a semi-automatic weapon such as the AR-15, and reliable target penetration.
rThis round’s casing is made of brass, and is more than sturdy enough to withstand multiple reloads. Its Boxer primer is non-corrosive, so don’t worry if you’re not able to introduce it to your firing pin right away. Its propellant burns clean as well.
