Description
Harness the awesome power of copper! Browning’s BXS Copper Expansion series 30-06 ammunition is loaded with solid copper polymer tipped hunting bullets. It’s totally lead-free and nontoxic, but that’s not the reason why it reigns over all American deer species.
rCopper provides multiple performance advantages. It eliminates lead fouling, and shoots even cleaner thanks to the long bullet’s pressure relieving grooves that minimize contact with the bore. It enhances rotational stability, because the pure bar stock the bullet is machined from contains no voids or other inconsistencies. And once its low-drag polymer tip, boat tail and ballistic profile have all done their jobs, the copper bullet will terminate its flat trajectory with commanding kinetic energy transferal: over 1,000 ft lbs within ranges up to 730 yards.
rThis round’s tough bullet withstands high-velocity penetration without shedding a significant portion of its weight – precisely the reason for its consistently deep penetration. Its tip also conceals a large nose cavity, and begins initiating lethal terminal expansion the moment it connects with the quarry’s hide.
rThese thirty-aughts feature nickel-plated brass cases. They’re just as reloadable as you’d assume, but also more resistant to corrosion and smoother-cycling than the plain Jane unplated alternative.
