The Hybrid Hunter’s secant ogive shape measurably improves its ballistic coefficient, so it is able to maintain a flat trajectory, better ignore the effects of wind drift, and retain greater velocity downrange so that it can inflict more energy upon impact. Its tangent ogive shape improves performance by better aligning the bullet with the riflings of a rifle’s bore. Those benefits combined with the Hybrid Hunter’s efficacious hollow point nose cavity translate to the accuracy and lethal terminal performance that a successful hunting season simply can’t do without.
