Description
This 257 Weatherby Magnum cartridge is from Nosler’s Trophy Grade line of ammunition, and features the 110 grain AccuBond projectile. This bullet is true to the first half of its name thanks to its white polymer tip as well as its boat tail design, which together enhance its ballistic coefficient to give it flat-line accuracy. The AccuBond is true to the second half of its name owing to the proprietary bonding process that has rendered its tapered copper alloy jacket and lead alloy core virtually inseparable during penetration.
rThis bullet mushrooms dramatically as it tunnels through its target. Its tip initiates expansion upon impact, and its jacket and core are both engineered to widen outward greatly, yet in a controlled fashion. This bullet also features Nosler’s Solid Base, which provides a substantial platform on which expansion can reliably take place. This round further offers a new brass casing and a sensitive primer which stands by to guarantee reliable ignition.
