rThis cartridge features Winchester’s own Copper Extreme Point. Like the regular Extreme Point, this hunting bullet features an abnormally large polymer tip. The tip’s chief purpose is to accelerate expansion immediately following impact. Its broad base rams down deep into the underlying nose cavity, spreading the bullet out widely in the process.
rThe Copper Extreme Point is extremely tough, and as such it avoids exhibiting a significant amount of fragmentation. That’s key to penetrating all the way to the quarry’s boiler room. The bullet is furthermore extremely accurate, as its large polymer tip and sloping boat tail both effectively conserve velocity. Expect a flat trajectory once this round’s low-fouling 85 grain copper bullet has cleared your muzzle!
