Still, you’re not going to be reloading this budget-friendly casing any time soon, especially given its inconvenient Berdan primer pocket.
rThis round is otherwise much the same as most any other 223 Rem cartridge you’d find on the market, with a 3,241 fps muzzle velocity and 55 grain projectile. As a hollow point this round’s bullet will expand significantly during penetration, making it a bonafide coyote slayer. Even so, its agreeable price tag makes this round a fine choice for regular backyard plinking and range training as well.
