Description
Red Army Standard ammunition is provided by Century International Arms, a firearms manufacturer which like so many others was founded by a typewriter repairman in Vermont back in the 60s — he had placed an ad for an old Lee-Enfield in the classifieds, saw that selling rifles was better money than fixing typewriters, and changed his line of work accordingly. CIA is based out of Boca Raton now, a place that has far nicer weather than Vermont which is enveloped in ice for half of the year.
r
rThis is a cost effective 223 Rem cartridge, with a non-reloadable steel casing instead of a brass one. Its Berdan primer is non-corrosive, and it along with the casing’s neck are sealed so as to protect them from the elements. This round’s 56 grain bullet is highly accurate thanks to its boat tail design, and furthermore delivers a flat trajectory and superior momentum downrange. The bullet’s full metal jacket will protect your weapon from rapidly fouling with lead, so you can fire it longer in between cleanings without forfeiting accuracy.
