Each cartridge utilizes a reloadable brass casing that has been properly heat-treated for durability. The casing has a non-corrosive Boxer primer tri-staked into its pocket in order to prevent primer popping which can completely shut down a rifle when it occurs. In addition, Norma uses hard primers that resist unintentional discharge from free-floating firing pins such as those found in AR rifles. The case is filled with clean-burning propellant that burns consistently every time and has a minimum shelf life of 25 years.
rThis particular load uses a 55-grain FMJ (full metal jacket) bullet which is light for the .223 caliber and matches a wide range of practice loads.
