These are50 Cal Hornady Sabot Low Drag with 45 Cal 300gr. SST Bullets. These muzzleloading bullets from Hornady are designed to be fired from .50 caliber muzzleloaders using the included .45 caliber bullets. Once saboted, the .45 caliber bullets allow you to increase velocity without increasing your powder charge by firing a lighter, more aerodynamic bullet. The sabot ensures obturation with the sub-caliber bullet. This all combines to give higher velocities, flatter trajectories, and more fun with your muzzleloader.
