Description
Good self-defense ammo is a must for any firearm owner, and you can’t have too much of it. This 9mm Silvertip cartridge has been one of Winchester’s most popular options for personal protection since at least the 1980s, and they’ve made it more relatively affordable than ever in recent years.
rThis round features a 115 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. (There’s no real silver in it, although we’ve been asked that before. Must be some werewolf hunters out there.) The lightweight bullet reaches an initial velocity of 1,225 fps to exert nearly 400 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle. That power is made even more incapacitating to a target via terminal expansion, which is especially consistent thanks to this bullet’s evenly notched jacket.
rThis round’s brass casing has never before seen the light of day, and is smooth, straight, and durable enough to be loaded and fired several more times. Winchester gave this self-defense round the trustworthy primer that it deserves, and clean burning propellant that’s measured for consistent ballistic performance.
