Description
This 5.56×45 ammunition is a little bit different from what you might be accustomed to firing, but make no mistake – this is a good selection for any AR-15 rifle whether you’re planning some target practice or preparing for a predicament.
rThis is M855 ammo, to be precise, which means its 62 grain bullet contains steel. Beneath the bullet’s conventional jacket sits a seven-grain pointed steel tip, which (A) makes the bullet magnetic, and (B) strengthens the bullet for more reliable penetration through a variety of common urban barriers.
rThe M855 round’s heavier bullet performs most accurately out of a 1:9 or 1:8 twist barrel (1:7 is certainly acceptable). Igman is based in the Balkans, where they load brand new brass cases, clean-burning powder and non-corrosive Boxer primers. You’ll especially enjoy firing this ammo at a junk car (from a safe distance, of course), as it will turn the old thing into swiss cheese.
