This is Black Hills White Box ammunition. All Black Hills ammo must pass through a stringent quality control system before being released to the consumer. White Box rounds are factory seconds that didn’t quite make the cut. Most of these rounds have only minor cosmetic flaws and still offer the same quality the company is known for.
Each of these .308 Winchester (7.62×51) cartridges is loaded with a 168 grain match grade boat tail hollow point projectile. The boat tail configuration creates impressive in-flight stability that increases repeatable long-range accuracy. The hollow point cavity expands rapidly upon target impact, carving a devastating wound channel for quick and humane kills. These rounds well-suited for hunting whitetails, elk, and other big game, especially at longer distances.
Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 2650 feet per second, each round generates 2620 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Boxer primed and 100 percent non-corrosive, these cartridges feature high-quality, reloadable brass cases. This ammunition comes packed in 20-round boxes with 10 boxes per case.
