Federal shook up the MSR 15 platform when they released their new 224 Valkyrie caliber back in late 2017. Each cartridge is loaded with a 75gr. total metal jacket (TMJ) projectile that rockets out of the muzzle at 3000 fps, but it only has a fraction of the felt recoil often experienced with other comparable calibers. These cartridges provide extreme accuracy and precision, and they maintain their velocity at long range.This cartridge is perfect for a long day at the range; the TMJ protects the shooting environment from lead pollution that can occur when firing.
