Description
This 223 Rem cartridge is made by Winchester for law enforcement applications. Heck, it would make a fine coyote round too, even if the coyote isn’t breaking the law.
rThis Ranger round features Winchester’s 64 grain Power Point. It’s been the American Legend’s preeminent hunting soft point bullet for ages, so they’ve invested decades into perfecting its accuracy, weight retention, and ability to rapidly expand within a target. Notches around the bullet’s jacket control that expansion, so its terminal performance is highly predictable. With the right placement, one Power Point ought to be all it takes to neutralize a threat.
rThis round is loaded with Winchester’s propellant and Boxer primer, both clean burning and stable practically indefinitely during storage. You can set this ammo aside for a worst case scenario for the rest of your life, provided you keep moisture and adverse temperatures away from it. (Two of ammunition’s biggest enemies, along with light.) Winchester makes an admirable brass shell casing, one which seats its bullet neatly and chambers just right. Perfect for handloading after the fact as well!
