Description
Ammo Inc. typically loads ammunition using the components they manufacture at their own factories in Arizona and Wisconsin. But they do import ammo as well – as is the case with this 223 Rem, which hails from BMZ Defence’s factory in Turkey.
rThis ammo is extremely similar to our own military’s 5.56 M193 load. As such it features a simple 55 grain full metal jacket projectile. The bullet’s rigid copper shell wards off deformation which could cause a feeding jam or weaken accuracy. According to the ballistic data on the black plastic field box, this ammo’s G1 ballistic coefficient is 0.248. As such the nonmagnetic and non-expanding projectile provides a supersonic velocity throughout the 223’s entire effective range (and well beyond it).
rThis ammunition’s Boxer primers are non-corrosive, so you won’t have to worry about rust. The newly manufactured brass cases are also sealed to prevent water infiltration in storage.
