Description
We don’t get to offer ammo from the Middle East very often, which is why we were excited to get a big shipment of 12 Gauge shotshells by Sterling. They’re a subsidiary of Turaç, a large-scale ammo manufacturer headquartered in Şabanözü, Turkey. Their ammo is exported to over 60 countries including England, Germany, and the best country, and their products are used by military and law enforcement organizations in 20 countries (mostly in the Middle East).
rDon’t use this Turkish ammunition on an actual turkey. It is loaded with nine pellets of 00 buckshot, suiting it much better for deer hunting, wasting coyote that wandered too close to your headquarters, and of course home defense. Each dense lead 1/3†diameter pellet ejects from the muzzle at a velocity of 1,296 fps, giving this shell the ability to spread out over 1,700 ft lbs of energy across nine separate wound channels at close range. Pretty effective stuff no matter how you slice it.
rSterling’s crystal wad is engineered to promote a denser shot pattern, and their high brass-plated head ought to help any kind of shotgun feed and extract with greater reliability. These shells’ hulls are clear for faster identification whenever time is of the essence.
