The JHPs are from Federal’s HST label – premium self-defense projectiles. An HST features an optimized nose profile for smooth feeding in a semi-auto, jacket and core that hold together for deep penetration of the target, and nose cavity that resists clogging so it can deliver wide terminal expansion. The HST consistently shines when tested according to the FBI’s self-defense bullet protocol!
