rIt’s cool that this shell’s #5 shot is made of nickel-plated lead instead, though. The little pellets’ semi-rigid shells help them stay rounder under pressure. It’s a much, MUCH more economical alternative to using hyper-hard tungsten shot.
rThis shell doesn’t hold back. It’s long at 3â€, packed full of 1-1/4 ounces of shot (a little over 200 pieces, total), and has the robust powder charge it needs to accelerate so much lead to supersonic velocity. Honestly, you could do a whole heck of a lot worse for pheasant, too.
rThese gobble-snuffers are made in the USA using premium components. We can’t promise exactly which color high-brass hulls you’ll receive, but you’ll be able to save them and handload them regardless.
