This 12 Gauge Black Cloud TSS shotshell by Federal is loaded with two distinctive types of shot to give you the best of both worlds while you’re out grounding mallards. The first to exit your muzzle when you fire is #4 FliteStopper, steel pellets that have sharp annuli which enable them to create wide wound cavities. The second is #9 Tungsten Super Shot, which is made of tungsten alloy that is more than twice as dense as lead. This shot retains its momentum over exceptional distances, so the shell’s effective range is even greater than 50 yards.
rIts nontoxic shot isn’t this shell’s only feature that suits it so well for wetlands hunting. It further offers a Catalyst primer which contains no lead, propellant that delivers a fast 1,450 muzzle velocity to ensure significant long range energy, and a FliteControl Flex wad which creates a consistent pattern no matter the waterfowl choke you’ve fitted in your barrel. This shell’s black nickel plated head works to make certain that corrosion will never cost you a duck.
