Description
There are different specifications the 9mm cartridge can meet! When it’s loaded to SAAMI specs for standard chamber pressure, a 9mm round’s maximum pressure is 35,000 psi. Not bad! But when it is loaded to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) specs, the round’s max pressure is 36,500 psi.
rThat’s 4.2% higher! Not quite as high as 9mm +P, which is 10% higher than standard, but still high enough that you might note snappier recoil, flatter bullet trajectory, and greater striking power while you’re firing 9mm NATO. This ammo isn’t technically “+P,†although it may prove too much for an older (i.e. made before the early ‘90s) pistol to handle. We recommend taking the conservative approach: only fire 9mm NATO in a modern pistol.
rAside from its propellant charge, this ammo’s components are all Winchester’s usual white box quality. Nonmagnetic, non-expanding 124 grain full metal jackets. Noncorrosive Boxer primers. Brand new reloadable brass cases. The gang’s all here.
