Once the 53 grain V-MAX clears the barrel at a hot velocity of 3,400 fps, its 0.290 G1 ballistic coefficient will keep it cooking along a flat trajectory way, way far downrange. The V-MAX will still deliver terminal expansion and fragmentation at ranges up to 613 yards, and its velocity will stay supersonic until almost 1,000 yards.
